He has vivid experience in education consulting and is the Primary Consultant for Joint MBA Program – MBA Doing Business with Japan – between RIMS, Bangalore and NWU, Japan; Primary Consultant for Joint MBA Program – MBA Doing Business with Korea – between Taxila Business School, Jaipur and Mokwon University; Primary Consultant for Joint Medical (BSMD) Program between GEMS Nepal and AUF, Philippines in 2008
He Initiated the Philippines University Rating Program in association with CHED (Commission on Higher Education of the Philippines) 2009.
He is the Member of the Nagasaki Breakthrough Initiative – A Japanese Government initiative to help local prefectural governments/companies export their products and services overseas.
He is actively involved in varied social projects. Together with his uncle Subarna in the US, he lead the Chhairo Gomba Restoration Project in association with Restoration World International, USA, (from 2004 & completed in 2016), the project was nominated as the Top 10 Volunteer Tourism Project by National Geographic Traveller Magazine in 2008. The monastery has since been handed over to the local Chhairo Gomba Committee in lower Mustang of Nepal.
In November 2012, the Bhattachan family together with Lions Club of Pokhara and Lions Club international organized a major health camp in Mustang and Pokhara wherein 120 major and minor surgeries were successfully conducted free of charge by a team of more than 40 leading doctors and nurses from the Kansas City area of USA.
Mr. Subha Battachan went to Hampton Court School and St Georges College in Mussoorie, Modern Indian School in Kathmandu and Symbiosis College in Pune. Later went to Lucknow University and started his own advertising agency.He lived in Lucknow, Pune, Delhi, and Kolkata for work and more recently in Bangalore. Lived and travelled extensively in the Philippines, presently reside in Japan since 2010.
